Eight Days of Chanukah
The next eight days possess touchstones for greatness and tools for soul development. How can we experience miracles today? What is the secret of Jewish identity? How can Chanukah inspire us to achieve our personal best? How can Chanukah enrich our relationships and deepen our happiness? Eight Days of ChanukahForty Days of Prayer
The forty days prior to Yom Kippur are infused with G-d’s love and mercy. This period is an especially opportune time to ask for a speedy recovery for a loved one or any other wish or prayer. At our synagogue, we offer prayers for people during the reading of the Torah three times during the week. If you would like to include a name, please send your information to rabbicohen40days at gmail.com or fill out the form here: Forty Days of PrayerThe Taste of the High Holidays
Some of our fondest memories as children are the tastes and smells of the holidays. Submit and share your favorite Rosh Hashanah recipe: The Taste of the High Holidays.Inspiration Corner
We gain inspiration for each other. We are not alone in our journey of 40 days. Every Ten Days we will post a new idea to share – we can learn from each other and grow together. You can share your ideas and comment on others. Some of the ideas will be incorporated into a booklet posted on line and in print at Agudath Sholom for the holidays.
